The Story Behind ASK Precious & Select

If you've made it this far, you may be curious to learn a little more about the person behind this boutique. So, welcome to my world.

First of all, ASK simply comes from my initials. I have my parents to thank for that wonderful coincidence.

Without even realizing it, those three letters have followed me throughout my life. For as long as I can remember, people have naturally approached me to ask for directions, recommendations or all kinds of information. I often joke that the word ASK must be written across my forehead! So when it came to choosing the name of my business, it felt like the most natural choice.

Precious & Select is just as personal. The letters P and S are the initials of my children's first names, a discreet tribute to the people who mean the most to me. Beyond that personal meaning, these two words perfectly reflect the spirit of my boutique: offering jewellery that I choose first because it truly catches my eye, but also because of its quality, style and the pleasure I hope it will bring to the people who wear it.

The idea for ASK Precious & Select was born after meeting a jewellery designer. Then came the unwavering support of my family and friends, the encouraging feedback and the first real favourites. Little by little, what started as a simple idea gradually became an obvious path to follow.

Creating ASK Precious & Select meant bringing to life a project that truly reflects who I am: taking the time to select jewellery that I would genuinely enjoy wearing myself or giving as a gift.

Today, thousands of jewellery pieces are just a few clicks away. Yet I never wanted to create a boutique where customers get lost among hundreds of products. Instead, I prefer to take the time to discover, compare and carefully select every single piece. If a piece of jewellery becomes part of ASK Precious & Select, it is simply because I chose it with the same care I would if I were buying it for someone I love... or for myself.

That is why most of the jewellery is available in very limited quantities, often just one piece of each design. I like the idea that every piece keeps a sense of exclusivity and allows my customers to wear something they are unlikely to see everywhere else.

It was also important to me that this collection remained affordable, so that everyone could treat themselves or find a meaningful gift without compromising on quality or style.

Looking ahead, I would also love to develop a range of personalised jewellery. It is a project that is especially close to my heart. Personalisation takes time, technical expertise and the right partners, but I hope to make it available in the near future.
